Collect Now

A map with hints to find closest cashdrops with BCH, hidden in random locations around a quest center. These cashdrops are micro-advertisements from anyone who had created a PurelyPeer quest.

Create A Quest

A map and a short form to customize a quest, including an optional memo. A quest is a campaign that includes multiple cashdrops with BCH in each of them.

Fund A Quest

A map that looks for pending Unfunded quests created by other peers. Peers can pay for a quest using the built-in BCH wallet, or via an optional QR code.

Explore

A map to view quests created by peers worldwide. It shows active quests which have some cashdrops available to seek, and Unfunded quests pending the start of the quest.
Paytaca Merchants
We have partnered with Paytaca to provide verification of merchant information. Merchants using Paytaca POS (Point of Sale) system can choose to have their information available in PurelyPeer’s Create a Quest mode.
Thanks to this partnership, Paytaca merchants or their local supporters can easily create Merchant quests as frequently as desirable. And what is more, Merchant quests get a unique, innovative, and revolutionary tool to attract more customers - PurelyPeer Vaults!
PurelyPeer Vaults
When creating a Merchant quest, anywhere between 10-90% of the cashdrop value can be locked in a PurelyPeer Vault, usable only at that merchant.
For example, a cashdrop could be $10 but the collector would get only $1 when collected, and have the remaining $9 locked until it is spent at that merchant.
Yes, that’s an evolution of the good ol' coupons, with a few added benefits, which are described in detail in our FAQ below.
Frequently Ask Questions

Who can create quests?

Anyone who has enough BCH, either in their PurelyPeer wallet, or any other wallet. Quests can be funded with built-in wallet, or via an optional QR code.

Where can quests be created?

Anywhere in the world where humans have set foot, and where the location is publicly accessible. PurelyPeer uses filters to avoid cashdrop generation in inaccessible areas.

What kinds of quests are there, and what are their differences?

1. A fully Custom quest requires immediate payment.
2. If added to Unfunded quests, some parameters are fixed.
3. A Merchant quest can be made through a list of verified merchants, and with their location and details already preloaded.

Who is a quest creator?

A peer that creates and funds Custom or Merchant quests, or funds pending Unfunded quests.

What's in it for the quest creators?

Creating quests with BCH, for businesses accepting BCH, closes one loop in our circular, purely peer-to-peer economy. Instead of converting BCH to fiat to afford legacy advertising, BCH-accepting businesses can spend BCH on advertising via PurelyPeer quests.

By hunting cashdrops, local community members are rewarded with BCH and knowledge where to go to unlock PurelyPeer Vaults, which attract more customers and increase sales. Using the vaults, these peers can buy any product or service they want, paying less, but the merchant receives the full amount invoiced!

In addition to promoting BCH all around the world, the quest creators receive a special NFT (quest NFT) whenever each of the cashdrops associated with their quest is found and collected. PurelyPeer has plans to use these NFTs for upcoming features in the app.

Who can collect cashdrops?

Anyone can hunt and collect cashdrops scattered around the world! Even quest creators can go after their own quests.

If you like running, use PurelyPeer as a scavenger hunt app that will make you explore new streets in your neighbourhood. How quickly can you collect all cashdrops you generated in your quest?

What if a cashdrop is never found?

Thanks to BCH’s programmability, BCH is locked in cashdrops only for 13000 blocks, which is roughly 3 months. If no hunter finds that cashdrop before then, the locked BCH gets unlocked and automatically returned to the quest creator.

What is the difference between collecting and unlocking?

Collecting is the process when a user finds a cashdrop and receives BCH immediately. For Merchant quests, the collection process also includes receiving a PurelyPeer Vault

Unlocking is the process of redeeming the collected PurelyPeer Vault, while paying for a product or a service at the linked merchant.

Where can I unlock a PurelyPeer Vault?

The peer who has collected a PurelyPeer Vault can unlock it in any branch of the vault's linked merchant. By scanning a QR code and sending the vault to the merchant's Paytaca POS, extra BCH is unlocked.

Can I unlock a PurelyPeer Vault in any merchant?

Yes and no. No, a vault can only be unlocked at the merchant associated with the quest that created the cashdrop. But yes, it can be unlocked in any branch, if the merchant has multiple branches and one single verified profile in the Paytaca POS.

What are the benefits of PurelyPeer Vaults, available only through Merchant quests?

Traditional coupons provide discounts and reduce invoiced amounts. Customers end up paying less because of the coupon discount. Less economic value is exchanged, immediate merchant revenue is lowered, and it is difficult to plan cashflow ahead (not knowing when and how many coupons will be redeemed). Additionally, when used in the printed form, traditional coupons have upfront production and distribution costs.

PurelyPeer Vaults do not provide discounts and keep the original invoiced amount. The customer ends up paying the same amount but they spend less because they unlock extra BCH from the collected PurelyPeer Vaults. Merchants get the same revenue as when other payment methods are used. No value exchanged is lost, immediate merchant revenue is not lowered, and it is easier to plan cashflow ahead (not having to wonder when and how many PurelyPeer Vaults will be unlocked). Additionally, there are no production and distribution costs other than the quest creation, which may be considered a part of the merchants' general marketing budget.

If my PurelyPeer Vault has more value than the cost of the product or service I want to buy, will I get a change?

Yes and no. No, you will not get the change directly into your wallet. However, yes, the PurelyPeer vault NFT under your control will receive the change. You will be able to use the same vault again, or trade it with someone.

Is there a limit to how many PurelyPeer Vaults I can use during a single unlocking process?

At the moment, only 1 PurelyPeer Vault can be used per 1 transaction at the given Merchant.

Why is my quest not showing in the Explore map already, even after I paid to create it?

The app has to distribute the funds to each individual cashdrop within the quest. The higher the number of cashdrops a peer choses for a quest, the longer it would take to make the quest visible and presented as active.

Can I use this PurelyPeer website for the Collect Now mode?

No, because we want to prevent dishonest peers from spoofing their location. However, the Create a Quest and Fund a Quest modes will soon be made available on this website, both of which will allow payments to a QR code.
